About Crane Lane Theatre & Canty's

This is Cork's most versatile music venue, a house of jazz, blues and burlesque. Our stage has hosted many an international luminary and some of the South's best bands have trod it's boards. We don't just mean the South of Ireland either. We have a tradition of hosting some of the finest Bluegrass, Western Swing, Blues and Rock & Roll bands to visit these shores. On weekends, in full gear we have live gigs, shows and our resident DJs to keep you on your toes! The Crane Lane Theatre is located in the remains of an old Gentleman's Club in the dead center of Cork City, and has been the scene of many a notorious event over the last 100 years. We have the only Beer Garden in Corks City centre and we continue to be inspired by the music of Mr. Tom Waits. Our decor is from the 20's 30's & 40's - (with the exception of one disco-ball). We have 3 bars to choose from besides our Garden. The Stage Door, The Crystal Room and the theatre itself, so whatever your mood or age we have a corner for you!
